The Warren Wilson College women's basketball team earned their third victory of the season after a 53-49 win over Hiwassee College.
The Owls lead 31-29 at the half and made free throws down the stretch to secure the victory. WWC went 26-33 from the free throw for the game and out rebounded HC 64-46.
Senior Jessica Bailey lead Warren Wilson with 19 points and 13 rebounds including 15-20 from the free throw line. First-year Renee Scherer also tallied double figures with 12 points.
