The Warren Wlson College men's and women's cross country teams finished in fifth place at the United States Collegiate Athletic Association Cross Country National Championships held in Buena Vista, VA.

The women were led by All-American Chelsea Gay's third place finish (25:59.43) followed by Hope Davis (19th, 29:19.70), Colleen Vetti (22nd, 29:36.83), Sarah Fagan (28th, 31:29.45), Emily Brigham (32nd, 32:12.50), Aubrey Delone (38th, 34:14.50), and Ellinor Dillon (40th, 34:28.40).

The men were led by Geoffrey Steen (29:19.3) and Chas Beiderman (30:00.1) who finished in 13th and 17th place, respectively.  Also scoring for the Owls were Phelan O'Connor (24th, 30:47.5), Mike Jolly (35th, 31:56.3), and Tal Gold (38th, 32:05.3).
