The Warren Wilson College cross country team competed this past weekend at the 2009 USCAA National Cross Country Championships held in Concord, NH. The women ran very well finishing sixth in the nation in the 6K with 148 points.
Hope Davis was the top finisher for the Owls as she placed in 18th with a time of 27:13. Erin Pesut crossed the finish line just 16 seconds later for a 21st place finish. Other finishers for Warren Wilson were Maggie Friedline (30th, 28:43), Kate O'Mara (35th, 29:24), and Eleanor Dillon (44th, 31:26).
The Warren Wilson men did not compile a team score but were lead by Phelan O'Connor's 22nd (29:44) and Tal Gold's 26th place (30:11) overall finishes.
