Rob Shook has been the head women's basketball coach at Warren Wilson College since 2007.  He also serves as the assistant athletic director for internal operations and intramural director. 

In his first season at the helm, Shook led the Fighting Owls to a 2-9 season, which was more wins than the previous three years combined.  For his efforts, he was named Fighting Owls coach of the year voted on by the athletic department. 

Shook came to Warren Wilson after completing his master's degree in Sports Management from Baylor University where he served as an intramural graduate assistant in the campus recreation department. 

The Troy, Ohio, native was a three-sport All-Conference athlete excelling in football, basketball, and baseball at Troy High School.  He completed his bachelor's degree from Grace College (Winona Lake, IN) in Sports Studies and Business Administration in 1997.   Shook participated in two seasons of football at Tiffin University before transferring to Grace and playing one season of baseball.

Shook has lived in Ohio, Indiana, Missouri, Colorado, Texas, and North Carolina.  He currently resides in Asheville with his wife Megan and daughter Harper.
