Art Shuster is a 1988 graduate of Warren Wilson College having majored in Social Work.  He grew up in Ohio and Michigan and raced mountain bikes professionally for Team Specialized in 1985.  Shuster has coached numerous Junior Olympic Camps for USA Cycling and has been coaching informally since 1990.  He is an avid cyclist having participated in most forms of cycling including road, mountain bike racing, velodrome competition, cyclo-cross, BMX, touring, and tour leading.
