As most of you know, the Warren Wilson College Athletics Department is small but unique.  We pride ourselves on hiring some of the best coaches in the country to mentor and lead our student-athletes as well as to attract and recruit the best students for our Triad approach to education.

Warren Wilson student-athletes are truly extraordinary.  We are fortunate to have 120 young men and women committed not only to athletic excellence, but also to scholastic and community leadership.  Last year, a four-year student-athlete graduated as the College's valedictorian with a 4.0 GPA.  Additionally, the College's top honor, the Pfaff Cup, has gone to a student-athlete for the past three years.  Overall, WWC athletes maintain a 3.0 GPA.  These accolades are a true measure of the hard work by our student-athletes and coaching staff.

Our mountain bike team has earned four individual national championship jerseys plus a top three ranking for seven consecutive years.  Our women's soccer program has competed in two national championship tournaments in the past seven years and our cross country team continues to produce quality runners and accolades every year.  With the addition of new athletic department staff, including men's and women's basketball coaches, a sports information director, and an aquatics coach, our teams are poised to be more competitive than ever.
