Anson Dorrance
The Warren Wilson College athletic department celebrated a successful 2008-09 sports season with its annual athletics banquet on Thursday, May 14. Legendary UNC women's soccer coach Anson Dorrance was the guest speaker and nearly 200 people filled Canon Lounge for the event.
Seniors John Nelson (Klein-Seesholtz), Amy Woychowski (Andy Summers), and Seanna Bellinger (Kevin Omolo) won the awards given out by the athletic department. Each coach spoke briefly about their season and presented their team with Most Valuable Player and Fighting Owl awards.
