Warren Wilson senior basketball player Jermon Marsh scored 12 points in helping the Western Carolina All Stars to a 117-112 victory over the Carolina Barnstormers.
The Barnstormers are made up primarily of seniors from the state's ACC
schools and play several exhibitions right after the college basketball
season every year. This year's team included Tyler Hansbrough,
Danny Green and Bobby Frasor, all of whom helped North Carolina win the
national championship. Several Tar Heel reserves and Duke
forward David McClure also played for the Barnstormers.
Marsh played on the High Country All Stars which consisted of seniors
from Western North Carolina colleges and universities. Marsh had
several nice moves in the contest including a reverse layup on UNC's
Danny Green and an acrobatic fast break lay up on several Carolina
players.
