Women's basketball players Georgia Anton, Laura Dison, Alissa Gore, Hannah Hess, and Philippa Sanders have been named by the United States Collegiate Athletic Association as 2008-09 Academic All-Americans. 

In order to be eligible for the award, players must be sophomore standing and maintain at least a 3.5 grade point average.
