The Owls women's soccer team (2-3-2) lost a toughly contested match to Division II opponent Lees McRae College 1-0 in Banner Elk, NC.

Lees McRae forward Tiffany Rodman fired the gamewining shot from 20 yards out to beat  Warren Wilson goalkeeper Rachel Schonberg in the 87th minute. 

Schonberg thwarted most of the Bobcats chances as she faced 32 shots and recorded 10 saves.  The entire Owls defense did a great job of keeping the Bobcats' forwards in check for most of the game.
