After losing their first match of the USCAA Soccer National Tournament 4-0 to Maine Fort Kent, the Owls won their second match in dramatic fashion claiming a 2-1 victory over Lindenwood-Belleville.
On the game deciding play, senior Claire Bicchieri found fellow senior Lily Walton atop the box with under 10 seconds remaining in the contest. Walton then ripped a shot that found the back of the net with just 3.1 seconds remaining to secure the Owls a 2-1 victory.
The Owls had a 1-0 lead at the half after Alex Barbour successfully converted a PK. LUB evened the match in the 56th minute. WWC goalie Kendra Orians tallied 9 saves.
