The Warren Wilson College athletic department celebrated a successful 2009-010 sports season with its annual athletics banquet on Thursday, May 13.  Gwendolyn Overham, producer of the full length feature film Pelada (www.pelada-movie.com), was the guest speaker and nearly 150 people filled Canon Lounge for the event.

Seniors Laura Dison (Klein-Seesholtz), Lauren Bangasser (Andy Summers), and Chelsea Gay (Kevin Omolo) won the awards given out by the athletic department.  Each coach spoke briefly about their season and presented their team with Most Valuable Player and Fighting Owl awards.
