The Warren Wilson College swim team competed versus Mars Hill College on Saturday, February 5, in their last home meet of the year.  Both teams enjoyed some fast times on the day but lost the dual meet to Mars Hill (142-23 men, 140-42 women).

The women were led once again by sophomore Amelia Hubbard who claimed a first place finish in the 500 yard freestyle (5:40.36) and a second place finish in the 200 yard freestyle (2:08.82).  Hubbard also re-set her 500-yard freestyle varsity record, with a personal best of 5:40.36, breaking her old record by 4 seconds.  Amelia now holds 6 of 14 individual women's varsity records.

The men were led by third place finishes from Johnathon Bland and Brendan Burns in the the 50 yard freestyle (23.76) and 200 yard backstroke (2:29.37), respectively.
