The Warren Wilson College women's basketball team started the 2009-2010 season with a 58-44 victory over Johnson Bible College.

After trailing most of the first half, the Owls took the lead right before the first half ended and never looked back as they outscored JBC 30-16 in the second half.  Senior Laura Dison lead all scorers with 15 points.  Jessica Bailey chipped in with 12 points and Georgia Anton hauled down 11 rebounds.
