Megan Gold, a first-year midfielder from Colorado Springs, CO, was named by the United State Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) as the women's soccer national player of the week for her efforts in a 3-1 victory over Pikeville College.

Gold helped the Fighting Owls to the 3-1 homecoming victory having a hand in all three goals scored by Warren Wilson.  She tallied two goals and one assist including the game winning goal with 2:46 remaining in the first half. 

On the season, Gold leads the 4-5 Owls in goals (6), shots (36), shots on goal (14), points (14) and tied for the lead in assists (2).
