The Warren Wilson women's soccer team improved to 3-4 on the season after defeating Peace College 2-0 in very soggy conditions.
First-year player Megan Gold opened up the scoring midway through the first half when senior Serena Shah found Gold at the top of the box for what proved to be the game winner. Fellow first-year player Becca Towne added the second goal unassisted midway through the second half.
The Fighting Owls dominated most of the match holding a 14-8 advantage
in shots and a 9-4 advantage on shots on goal. Goalkeeper Clare
Williams recorded 4 saves for the shutout.
