The Fighting Owls women's soccer team split a pair of matches at the Salem Classic in Winston-Salem, NC.  The women dropped their first game 2-1 in overtime against Bryn Mawr College then came back the second day to claim a 1-0 double overtime victory over the College of Notre Dame (MD). 

In the Owls' victory on Sunday, first-year player Megan Gold scored in dramatic fashion tallying the game winner with 14 seconds remaining in the contest.  Warren Wilson held a huge shot advantage 27-3 lead by Gold and fellow first-year player Reily Kennedy with 9 shots apiece. 

In their 2-1 loss, Bryn Mawr scored the game winning goal in the fourth minute of the first overtime.

Warren Wilson notched the first goal of the game as Kelsey Chandler took a pass from Reily Kennedy and beat BMC keeper Allaina Propst to the far side of the goal.

The game ended regulation in a 1-1 tie before Bryn Mawr notched the game-winner at 93:50.

Warren Wilson was outshot 17-7 but held a 7-6 advantage in corner kicks.
