    Swannanoa, N.C. - The Lady Owls played their final home game of the 2016-2017 campaign with a record breaking win over Piedmont International University. The Owls scored a program high 116 points in a 116-38 victory over the Bruins.

    The Owls were paced by Danasia Dumas with 26, followed by Jada McCrimmon with 16, Christina Childers scored a career high 16 points, followed by Kajahda McCoy, who also scored a career high 10 points. The Lady Owls also dished out 25 assists and picked the pocket of the Bruins 30 times.

    "This was a great finish to another great season. I am so proud of the way we took care of business among the disappointment [of not qualifying for the USCAA National Championships]," stated head coach Robin Martin. 

    The Owls will finish the season Saturday, February 25th, as they travel to Bluefield State College. Tip-off is scheduled for 2:00 P.M.
