The Fighting Owls men's soccer team claimed their first win of the 2009 season with a 1-0 victory over Johnson Bible College. 

Freshman Lincoln Bressor scored the game winning goal in the 43rd minute of the evenly played match.  Senior Ethan Frei found Bressor on a through ball and he buried the pass into the upper 90 from 18 yards out.  


Warren Wilson outshot Johnson Bible 16-9.  Goalie Brett Buffington recorded his first shutout of the year tallying 4 saves.

The Owls play next at USC-Sumter on Saturday, September 5.  Game time is scheduled for noon.
